Playing Models: Artificial Intelligence – Architecture – Storytelling 4th Edition

August 13–14, 2025 Hosted by Carnegie Mellon University

We are pleased to announce the 4th edition of Playing Models, an annual international symposium exploring the intersections of artificial intelligence, architecture, and storytelling. Launched in 2022, the symposium has evolved into a platform for critical discourse on the mathematical, political, and philosophical shifts emerging alongside AI technologies.

This year, the symposium will be hosted by Carnegie Mellon University on August 13–14, 2025. It will bring together leading researchers, designers, and educators whose work probes the conceptual and creative possibilities of AI in architectural thinking.

We are proud to acknowledge the generous support of our sponsors: Autodesk, NVIDIA, and MARK III, whose commitment to innovation and design research continues to expand the boundaries of creative technologies in architecture.
