
SAGE Publishing and the IJAC Editorial Committee, in partnership with ACADIA and IJAC’s founding organizations, announce the search for a new Editor-in-Chief for the International Journal of Architectural Computing (IJAC).
Established in 2003, IJAC is a peer-reviewed quarterly journal that advances high-impact research in computer-aided architectural design. It is jointly supported by international organizations: eCAADe, ACADIA, CAADRIA, and SIGraDi. The journal provides a global platform for theoretical, methodological, and technical work spanning architecture, building performance, digital fabrication, construction, urbanism, and landscape design.
The Editor-in-Chief will:
Three-year term, beginning December 1, 2025 First issue due under new editor: March 2026
Ideal candidates will: * Have a strong research record in computational design or related areas * Possess editorial or academic leadership experience * Be actively engaged with ACADIA or its sibling organizations * Demonstrate excellent organizational, communication, and management skills
Applicants should include documentation of anticipated institutional support (e.g. time release, admin or student worker support, travel funding, etc.).
