ACADIA announces the opening of nominations for the following positions:
Board of Directors Member: Board members are elected representatives who serve a two-year term and are responsible for the strategic direction, activities, and operations of ACADIA. They participate in monthly meetings, help organize the annual conference, and contribute to initiatives aligned with ACADIA’s mission.
ACADIA President: The President is elected directly by the membership and serves a three-part term: as Vice President (pre-presidency), President, and then Vice President (post-presidency). The President leads the Board of Directors, presides over meetings, and helps guide ACADIA’s vision and activities throughout the year.
Graduate Student Representative: As a non-voting member of the ACADIA Board of Directors, the Graduate Student Representative facilitates student engagement in the ACADIA community and the promotion of student opportunities.
International Journal of Architectural Computing (IJAC) Editorial Board: Elected IJAC Editorial Board members serve a three-year term and act as editors for the International Journal of Architectural Computing (IJAC). They are responsible for overseeing the ACADIA/IJAC special issue, supporting the peer review process, and advancing scholarly work at the intersection of architecture and computation.
Each candidate for a Board of Directors position must be nominated by at least three members in good standing. Self-nominations are permitted; in such cases, only two additional nominations are required. Board members whose terms expire in 2025 are eligible for re-election.
