ACADIA (Association for Computer Aided Design in Architecture), an international network of digital design researchers and professionals, invites applications for the PhD CAAD Workshop, to be held as part of the 2025 Conference in Miami. This one-day session provides PhD candidates in computational design and Computer Aided Architectural Design (CAAD) with a unique platform to present their research to peers and established scholars from the ACADIA community.

Participants will benefit from comprehensive feedback from leading CAAD researchers that can significantly enhance their doctoral trajectory. Their work will be showcased through poster exhibitions during the workshop, gaining visibility within the computational design community. Selected participants will receive sponsored entrance to the main ACADIA 2025 Conference, enabling deeper engagement with current discourse in the field.

The workshop introduces researchers to diverse methodologies across various CAAD schools worldwide, helping them position their work within the CAAD research landscape. Beyond valuable feedback and networking opportunities, the two most outstanding presenters will be selected to participate in the prestigious International PhD CAAD Workshop 2026, offering an extended platform for international recognition and collaboration.

    The workshop participation is free.
