RoboSCAPE // roboSCAPE is a 3 dimensional interactive environment for the internet. An architecture where usage is an integral part of the form generation process in real-time. // Informationspace_i-tectue // roboSCAPE tries to use the rules of 3dimensional physical space as an interface-metaphor . Significant properties of physical space are combined with specific parameters of digital spaces (i-tecture). In digital environments the actions of users can have an impact on the space. Dynamic reactions of spaces to the point of attention, the movement and the actions of the users can create new, unique spaces. The users movements are traced and translated into space. // Parametric architecture // roboSCAPE is electronic architecture which is generated out of a set of abstract data. The digital manifestation takes place whereever the user asks. This architecture does not have to end up in a static form. The source data can be dynamic and the usage can change the form. The process remains a part of the architecture and has moved from the design process to the usage of the space. Besides architectural design methods, the programming becomes a very important part of the digital environments. A secondary architectural structure of object-orientated programming is layered above the forms. Properties and conditions are generated that can only prevail in digital environments.
