D_098 Shifting Patterns - interference of work, life, city and the house

Carmina Sanchez . Interesting intuitive method. I'm still searching for the interactive architecture, the one provided is quite frozen although made out of dynamic forms.

Mahesh Senagala . This is an intelligent project, a well documented process, and well layed out. The notions of "magnetic machines" and the use of "moire patterns" as critical design tools enable us to connect to the city through a new framework. There is the powerful use of computational tools for effective urban design. The process of design clearly shows how the "digital patterns", the shifting patterns of the complex grain of today's city is the "breeding" ground for the new patterns to emerge. They could not have accomplished it without the digital media. Given the rigor of the process, one can see that this is "evolving" into an intriguing architectural reality. But again, this is "hybrid", right?!

Chris Sharples . There was a large jump between the diagramming process and the formal construction. Sections describing the relationship of this housing type to the body or particular programs could be a way of mediating the transition to built form

Brian Johnson . This seems to be more about designing a process than designing architectural space.
