Project Description
collaborative homework on electronic screen

The rapid evolution of technology empowers learning and information access, but it also comes with a high cost for implementation, operation, and maintenance. Libraries focus on providing an optimal learning environment, while continuing to embrace the civic role as a meeting place for social interaction. Can a library for the information age integrate technology to enhance all these activities? This design solution will show the answer IS YES.

A technology-based mobile unit that brings state-of-the-art equipment and operating personnel to remote library locations provides the key. Combing the historical functions of bookmobiles, but overlaying the most sophisticated technological developments available, entire library districts can now become exciting places of interactive learning, collaboration, and social events.
