transition spaces
The programmatic elements that are housed here are more conventional in nature. They are separated from the "networked" spaces because they do not have to meet the same strict sight line requirements to the main "network" wall. All of these elements can be housed within an existing building or even within an existing library, allowing the "networked" library to function as an addition to the original structure.
networked spaces
The Information Wall, the Auditorium, and the Café are all fully networked areas. These elements are optional but desirable because the library user will have a richer haptic experience as a result.
